1. SERVICE NATURE: THE "PASS-THROUGH" PRINCIPLE
PROTO is not a streaming service, a cloud provider, or a content host. It is strictly a local media player interface that acts as a visual client for files you already own and host on your personal Google Drive. PROTO does not host, index on servers, or distribute any content.
2. COPYRIGHT & CONTENT RESPONSIBILITY
You acknowledge that you are the sole owner or licensed custodian of any media files accessed through PROTO.
- ZERO LIABILITY: The developer assumes no responsibility for copyright infringement or illegal content stored in your connected drive.
- COMPLIANCE: You agree to use this tool only for content you have the legal right to access.
3. "AS-IS" TERMINAL PROTOCOL
PROTO operates on a strictly defined logic system (The "Handshake Protocol").
- STRICT FORMATTING: Files that do not strictly adhere to the designated `/Music/Genre/Artist/Album` directory structure will be ignored by the system. We do not guarantee parsing of messy or unstructured libraries.
- NO API WARRANTY: This app relies on the Google Drive API. We do not guarantee continued access if Google changes their API, rate limits your account, or deprecates features.
4. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
By using PROTO, you agree that the developer is strictly not liable for:
- DATA COSTS: Mobile data charges incurred while streaming your own files.
- ACCOUNT STATUS: Any actions taken by Google against your account (including bans or locks) resulting from your use of their API.
- DATA LOSS: Any corruption or loss of files within your Drive. PROTO is designed to be read-only (`drive.readonly`), but you assume full risk for granting access.
5. TERMINATION
We reserve the right to modify the app's logic or discontinue updates at any time without notice. You may terminate this agreement by simply deleting the app and revoking the OAuth token in your Google Account security settings.
